Start with how you bathe

An accessible bathroom begins with the person's actual movements: approach, entry, turning, sitting and reaching. Discuss whether bathing is independent or assisted and whether those needs may change. A low entry is only one part of the plan; controls, seating and the dry space outside the shower must work together for the intended user.

Does an accessibility label prove that a layout works?
