An illustration to help you consider the room. It is not a record of work completed in your area.
Start with how you bathe
In a condo, your bathroom choices may interact with shared building systems and access rules. Find out how deliveries, debris removal and water shutoffs are arranged before setting expectations. Keeping the bathing area near its current location may simplify the discussion, but ownership boundaries and building approval still need to be understood for your property.
Can a condo owner freely move shower plumbing?
Do not assume so. Shared stacks, slab construction and building requirements may limit changes. Ask the building representative and the proposed contractor to identify what can be altered and which approvals apply to the actual project.
Bring a usable project brief
- Describe who uses the bathing area and what is difficult about the present arrangement.
- Bring room measurements or photos and identify the fixtures you hope to retain.
- Separate must-have changes from preferences that can adapt to the measured space.
During a site discussion, test the decisions against actual dimensions and the proposed assembly. Ask which choices are ready to make and which depend on inspecting the existing room. A product image can explain a preference, but it cannot confirm that the same arrangement is feasible in your home.
This is planning guidance for a homeowner who makes the project decisions. Service fit and current availability need separate confirmation before any work can be arranged.
